My little guy, Colton, loves to be tickled!

And he is really ticklish too!

I love this kid.

Happy Friday.

About a month ago, while shopping at Sam's Club I came across a demo of EcoDrinks.
After hearing that I could get pretty much all of my daily vitamins in a simple drink each morning, I was really interested!

While I'm not good at remembering to take a pill each morning, I always get a drink when I wake up.
That's why I thought EcoDrink would be the perfect choice for me.

They sell for just under $20 at Sam's Club and Costco and come with a sports bottle (that's BPA free) and 30 packets of drink mix (orange and strawberry).
It works out nicely for Chris and I - he only likes the strawberry and I only like the orange!
We've been drinking one each morning and both have been feeling great!

I've lost a little bit of weight - but more then that...I feel great throughout the day!
I'm more energetic and my hair and skin look great!

Here's more info from EcoDrink:
  1. • 5x More Powerful Than Leading Vitamin Water Brands
  2. • 3x More Electrolytes Than Leading Sports Drinks
  3. • 5x More Antioxidants Than Leading Immune Boosting Drinks
  4. • No Calories, No Sugar, No Sodium, No Carbs!
  5. • Reusable Eco-Friendly, BPA Free Bottle Included

Since they currently don't sell the drink mixes only, each time you buy your packets - you also get another sports bottle. After awhile, you could end up with a ton of these!
Except for EcoDrink lets you exchange your bottles for more mix!
I love that!

If you want to try a sample of EcoDrink yourself, call 1-866-599-7022 and just ask!

(This is not a sponsored post...I really buy EcoDrink at Sam's Club and use it daily...and really do love it!)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

My mom loves going to garage sales and picking up old church cookbooks.
She'll go through it, and rip out the recipes she wants
And then she passes it along to the next person.

This is a recipe that she found in one of those cookbooks.

Now, let me tell you that we went over to her house for supper the night she made this.
The boys come in...
"What's for supper, Grandma?"
"Tuna Spaetzle"
"Uh....what else are we having?"

The name itself doesn't give off much appeal.
Before I had even looked to see what it was,
I was almost certain that I wouldn't like it either.

But when she served this huge casserole of cheesy goodness
It was gone.
The boys ate at least two plates each
And Chris was stuffed by the end of dinner

This stuff is good.

I found spaetzle noodles at Aldi's. You can also find them here.

Here we go...

#1 - Boil the spaetzle is salted water, according to package directions - about 12 minutes.

#2 Drain noodles. Aside from noodles, make your sauce:
2 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans of tuna
2 cups milks
season with salt and pepper (I use Greek Seasoning)
Warm over medium heat, do not boil
#3 - Add 4 oz of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until combined and melted
#4 - Add noodles. Mix well.

#5 - For my family, 16oz of spaetzle made two dinners - so divided this into two casserole dishes
#6 - Top with breadcrumbs
#7 - Finish off casserole with another 4oz of shredded cheddar cheese....the more, the better.
#8 - Wrap your casserole to save in foil - make sure to label is. You'll defrost this and reheat it at 350 degrees for about a half hour.
#9 - As for the casserole you're eating today - place it in a 350 degree over (covered with foil) for 15-20 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 8-10 minutes, or until cheese is golden brown.

Yummy! This is an easy meal to make, and my family loves it!

We gobbled this whole casserole up fast!

I hope your family enjoys this as much as mine did! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Will you stop by and read my very first review? It's of a newer product called EcoDrink that we use everyday. Thanks so much!

This blog is called "The Kitchen Is My Dance Floor" for a reason.
I love music
All kinds
Really...even rap.

Well, some of it.
Maybe just a tiny bit of it.

Anyways, even since my boys were babies I've always had a radio in the kitchen.
Whenever a good song came on, I would always wrap them in my arms and we'd dance.

Ashton...who's 9 now...him and I use to love to dance to Motown. Jackson 5. Barry. Marvin.
I remember him sometimes running into the kitchen if he heard a good song....
just so we could dance.

He still loves music and can name most artists on the radio now.

I have a lot of pride that when Johnny Cash, Elvis or The Beatles come on the radio that he knows who's singing.

Colton, my youngest....he's 4. Also loves music - he'll sing songs in the backseat of the car all day long. I have to laugh when I hear him singing a song by Black Sabbath or The Stones.

I love listening to Pandora everywhere. I'm listening to it as I type this.
Right now, I'm listening to "Florida Georgia Line"

Baby you're a song, you make me wanna roll my windows down and cruise...

I cannot sing...so we won't try that. But I love this song! I love this group!

What are you listening to?

I do not like to clean.

Really...who does?
I'm not a naturally clean person, so it's especially hard for me sometimes.

I was raised by a mother who kept a spotless house, even though she worked 50+ hours a week.
I'm a stay at home mom and it's hard.

It also doesn't help that I get distracted easily.
I really need structure when it comes to cleaning.
And, I just am not the kind of person that "cleans as I go". I wish I was.
But I'm just not!

In the past few years, I've developed a system that works for me.
I call it the "15 Minute Clean-Up"
Simple enough, huh?

Basically, I give myself exactly 15 minutes to clean each room.
That's it.
Simple. Easy. Just the way I like it.

Today, I'm going to show you my method of the daily cleaning to my kitchen.
Once a month, I will deep clean the kitchen - if you keep up with the daily cleaning, once a month deep cleaning is really all that's needed.

Here's how it goes:

This is the mess left over from breakfast, making sack lunches and the few dinner dishes that wouldn't fit in the dishwasher.

First, set your timer...

#1 - I take a plastic grocery sack and walk around picking up all the trash I see. Set the bag in the corner out of the way when you're done.
#2 - Get all the paper clutter out of the way. This counter top is where the mail gets put down. Throw away all junk mail and quickly put any bills in your bill collector.
#3 - Put all food items away. Any small appliances that don't belong on the counter top also need to be put away.

#4 You should have clear counter tops now. Get your cleaner out and spray them down. Don't wipe yet.
#5 - Empty the dishwasher and put the dirty dishes back in. Once your done with the dishwasher, then give all the counter tops a good wipe clean.

#6 - I love a clean sink. Squirt some dish soap in the sink.
#7 - I keep a brush under the sink to give the sink a quick scrub.
#8 - Clean all the soap out of the sink. Your sink should look shiny now. =)

#9 - Spray around your sink with cleaner.
#10 - Take your same rag and wipe the sink down. Make sure and get anything that might have gotten behind the faucet.
#11 - You're done! Spray off the kitchen table and wipe it off. Make sure your chairs are pushed in.

That's it!
I only sweep once a week or as needed and I either mop once a week or use my rag to spot mop throughout the week.

Here are my results....

Cleaning my house this way saves my sanity!

I use 15 minute clean-ups for every room in my house.
On the weekends when everyone is home - we will do a whole house 15 minute clean-up.
Everyone knows their areas to clean.
This is so very important to help keep our house from not looking like a tornado hit is by Sunday afternoon.

I will say that my kitchen is small compared to others, so your kitchen might need a 20 or 30 minute clean up each day - find a time frame that works best for you.

What methods do you use to clean that help save you time and energy?

Thanks so much for stopping by!
